Banji Sobukwe vs Hugh Nyauza

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Soweto Hall, Soweto,  taking place on 31/12/2030:

Clearly AI South Africa-Gauteng have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Banji Sobukwe (21(6) - 9(2)) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Hugh Nyauza(8 - 9 - 3) from Randburg, South Africa.  Sobukwe weighed in at 135 pounds, while Nyauza weighed in at 134 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Colin Ntambwe, and the three ringside judges are Lisimba Jali, Mzikayise Tlolane and Clinton Nyauza.  

Round 1: 

Sobukwe advances into close range and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  Sobukwe holds on to his opponent.  Sobukwe pushes his forearm into Nyauza's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Sobukwe is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Nyauza lands a left uppercut.  
Nyauza connects with a cross.  
Sobukwe is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Sobukwe ties up his opponent.  Sobukwe is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Sobukwe's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Nyauza is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Sobukwe lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sobukwe closes the distance and drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Sobukwe quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sobukwe digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  Sobukwe holds on to his opponent.  Sobukwe is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Sobukwe throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Sobukwe cuts off the ring, trapping Nyauza in a corner.  Sobukwe drives a solid right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Sobukwe drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  Sobukwe holds on to his opponent.  Sobukwe tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Nyauza behind the head. Sobukwe is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Sobukwe lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Sobukwe throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Sobukwe holds on to his opponent.  Sobukwe leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sobukwe is on target with a jab.  
Sobukwe lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sobukwe lands a left hook to the body followed by two jab's to the head.  
Sobukwe gets on the inside.  Nyauza connects with a left hook.

Sobukwe digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Sobukwe manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Sobukwe digs in a stinging left uppercut to Nyauza's body.  Sobukwe clinches his opponent.  Sobukwe is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Sobukwe's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Nyauza throws a left hook, but Sobukwe clinches his opponent.  Sobukwe leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sobukwe connects with a left uppercut.  
Sobukwe pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
Sobukwe advances into close range and drives a forceful right hook into his opponents ribs.  NYAUZA IS HURT!  
Sobukwe stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Sobukwe lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND NYAUZA IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Sobukwe lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND NYAUZA IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Sobukwe crashes a big right uppercut to Nyauza's ribcage.  NYAUZA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  Nyauza now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nyauza's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Nyauza's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Sobukwe gets on the inside and tries to land a right uppercut, but Nyauza blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sobukwe advances into close range and is on target with a weighty left uppercut to Nyauza's ribs.  NYAUZA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Nyauza almost instantly recovers. 
Sobukwe lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Sobukwe clinches his opponent.  Sobukwe leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Sobukwe's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sobukwe lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Sobukwe lands a right hook.  
Sobukwe digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Sobukwe lands a right hook.  Sobukwe tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sobukwe closes the distance.  Nyauza pivots to the side of his opponent.  Sobukwe throws a left uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Sobukwe ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Sobukwe pushes his forearm into Nyauza's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Sobukwe about fouling.  
Sobukwe lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Nyauza could be stopped here, if Sobukwe can find the right shot!  Sobukwe drives a powerful left hook into his opponents ribs.  NYAUZA IS DOWN!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Sobukwe!
