Matt Stephen vs Burim Bozbeyli

Boxing Daily Report from the JDHawks Gym promoted show at Jase Kastrati Gym, Tirana,  taking place on 31/01/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Stephen (3(1) - 0) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and Burim Bozbeyli(2 - 3(1)) from Tirana, Albania.  Both Stephen and Bozbeyli weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arlind Saygi, and the three ringside judges are Iphitus Kursumulu, Faton Chorlu and Engjell Maxhuni.  

Round 1: 

Stephen closes the distance and is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Stephen closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Stephen lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Stephen throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Stephen advances into close range and is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Stephen throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Stephen holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Stephen pushes his forearm into Bozbeyli's face.  The ref breaks Stephen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Stephen gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Stephen connects with a left uppercut.  
Stephen steps inside.  Bozbeyli sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Stephen lands a right hook.  
Stephen lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Stephen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Stephen pivots to the side of his opponent.  Stephen throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Stephen holds on to his opponent.  Stephen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Stephen lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Stephen lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Stephen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Bozbeyli lands a right hook.  
Stephen closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND KNOCKS BOZBEYLI DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.

Stephen lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Stephen goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Bozbeyli time to recover.  Bozbeyli almost instantly recovers.

Stephen crashes a mean left uppercut to Bozbeyli's ribs.  BOZBEYLI IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Stephen whips in a mean left hook to Bozbeyli's liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE BOZBEYLI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Bozbeyli quickly recovers. 
Stephen lands a sharp left hook.  
Stephen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS BOZBEYLI TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Stephen senses Bozbeyli is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Stephen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND BOZBEYLI IS DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Bozbeyli can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Stephen!
