Lazar Ponomarenko vs Kir Platon

Boxing Daily Report from the Donetsk Sports Club Championship promoted show at Rostov-on-Don Shishkina, Rostov-on-Don,  taking place on 29/01/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Russia-Rostov Oblast Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Russia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lazar Ponomarenko (21 - 0 - 1) who hails from Rostov-on-Don, Russia and Kir Platon(23 - 11(2) - 2) from Shakhty, Russia.  Ponomarenko weighed in at 174 pounds and 7 ounces, while Platon weighed in at 174 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Goga Sozonov, and the three ringside judges are Boris Sinitsyn, Afon Khoroshilov and Pyotr Lampeev.
