Edmond du Gast vs Sorrel Souare

Boxing Daily Report from the Danquah Promotions promoted show at Dakar Bobet, Dakar,  taking place on 31/01/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Senegal-Dakar Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edmond du Gast (10 - 8(1) - 1) who hails from Pikine, Senegal and Sorrel Souare(5 - 6(3) - 4) from Dakar, Senegal.  du Gast weighed in at 125 pounds and 9 ounces, while Souare weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brigham Maunier, and the three ringside judges are Maslin Diene, Sid Soumah and Channing Seigner.  

Round 1:
