Jeraldo Paz vs Jose Cantillo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Spain-Catalonia promoted show at L'Hospitalet de Llob Moron, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat,  taking place on 29/01/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Spain-Catalonia Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jeraldo Paz (10 - 4 - 4) who hails from Sabadell, Spain and Jose Cantillo(21(4) - 5(3)) from Barcelona, Spain.  Paz weighed in at 199 pounds And 5 ounces, while Cantillo weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nemesio Contrera, and the three ringside judges are Jair Gutierez, Vicente Ras and Vicente Ras.  

Round 1: 

Cantillo feints a cross, and then throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Cantillo steps inside.  Cantillo pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Cantillo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cantillo forces Paz to back into the ropes.  Cantillo lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Cantillo lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Cantillo forces Paz to retreat into a corner.  Cantillo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Paz quickly recovers. 
Cantillo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to Paz's liver.  
Cantillo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cantillo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Paz steps inside.  Cantillo pivots to the left of his opponent.  Cantillo attempts to land a right hook, but Paz slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cantillo pivots to the right of his opponent.  Paz connects with a right hook.  
Cantillo lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Paz quickly recovers. 
Cantillo pivots to the left of his opponent.  Cantillo is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Cantillo ties up his opponent.  Cantillo leans on his opponent using all his weight. Cantillo pushes his forearm into Paz's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cantillo.  
Cantillo lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS PAZ TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Cantillo knows Paz is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Cantillo lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND DROPS PAZ TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Paz now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Paz advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but Cantillo sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Cantillo lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Cantillo senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Cantillo lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND DROPS PAZ TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Paz has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Paz's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Paz's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Cantillo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Cantillo walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Cantillo lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Cantillo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cantillo feints a left, and then lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Cantillo connects with a right uppercut.  
Cantillo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cantillo forces Paz to back into the ropes.  Cantillo lands a left uppercut.  
Cantillo advances into close range and crashes a big right hook to Paz's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE PAZ WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Paz steps to the outside.  The right shot from Cantillo could be enough to force the stoppage!  Cantillo lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  Paz now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Cantillo hits home with a hard jab.  
Paz advances into close range.  Cantillo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Paz throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Paz gets on the inside.  Cantillo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Cantillo pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Paz tries to step out of his opponents range.  Cantillo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Paz is looking to close the distance.  Cantillo lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Paz switches the action to the outside.  Cantillo drives a jab into Paz's body.  
Cantillo lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Cantillo holds on to his opponent.  Paz is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Paz about fouling.
