Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Robina Stadium, Gold Coast,  taking place on 08/03/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fatjon The KO Kid Kalaj (14(11) - 1(1)) who hails from Tirana, Albania and Santiago Tallon(31(23) - 3(3)) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Both Kalaj and Tallon weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Mullane, and the three ringside judges are Ian Corrie, James Arras and Ben Connell.  

Round 1: 

Kalaj finds the target with a jab.  
Tallon steps inside.  Kalaj pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Kalaj is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Tallon throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Kalaj lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Tallon is on target with a jab.  
Kalaj steps to the outside and lands a firm cross.  
Tallon hits home with an overhand right.  
Kalaj tries to keep the action at long range and connects with an overhand right.  
Tallon is looking to close the distance and drives a sharp left uppercut into Kalaj's body.  
Kalaj switches the action to the outside.  Tallon is on target with a solid overhand right.  
Kalaj lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Tallon closes the distance.  Tallon sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Tallon lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.

Kalaj pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kalaj hits home with a sharp right hook.  Kalaj tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kalaj throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Tallon tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Tallon drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Kalaj DETONATES a MASSIVE overhand left on his opponents face.  TALLON IS HURT!  
Kalaj stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Kalaj lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND TALLON IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  It looks like Tallon has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Tallon lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kalaj is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Tallon is on target with a cross.  
Tallon is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Tallon digs in a right hook to Kalaj's ribcage.  Tallon tries to land a left hook, but Kalaj parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Tallon gets on the inside.  Kalaj tries to land a right hook, but Tallon slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Kalaj steps away from his opponent.  Tallon lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Tallon gets on the inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Tallon drives a left uppercut into Kalaj's body.  
Kalaj is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Tallon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kalaj is on target with a FEROCIOUS cross.  TALLON IS HURT!
