Angel Canada vs Alejandro Mallen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Aragua promoted show at Turmero Fabela, Turmero,  taking place on 01/02/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Venezuela-Aragua Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Canada (19(8) - 0) who hails from Turmero, Venezuela and Alejandro Mallen(15 - 9 - 3) from Maracay, Venezuela.  Canada weighed in at 134 pounds And 9 ounces, while Mallen weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Rafael, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Juliana, Fidel Guiterrez and Hilario Adriano.  

Round 1: 

Canada steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Canada holds on to his opponent.  Canada leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Canada pushes his forearm into Mallen's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Canada about fouling.  
Canada lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Canada lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Canada walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Canada lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mallen almost instantly recovers. 
Canada lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Canada clinches his opponent.  Mallen tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Canada's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mallen steps to the outside.  Canada lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Canada is on target with a cross.  
Canada gets on the inside and forces Mallen to retreat onto the ropes.  Canada throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Canada holds on to his opponent.  Canada is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Canada pushes his forearm into Mallen's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Canada about fouling.  
Canada is on target with a left hook.  
Canada drives a sharp right uppercut into Mallen's ribs.  Canada holds on to his opponent.  Canada tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Mallen's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mallen steps away from his opponent.  Canada lands a straight 1 - 2, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mallen quickly recovers. 
Canada lands a jab.  
Canada closes the distance.  Mallen sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Canada throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Canada clinches his opponent.  Canada hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Canada leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Canada steps inside.  Canada sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Canada lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  Canada clinches his opponent.  Canada leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Canada's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Canada is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Canada lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Canada lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Canada lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mallen throws a right hook, but Canada ties up his opponent.  Canada leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Canada lands two right hook's to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Canada lands a hurtful right hook.  MALLEN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Mallen recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Canada lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Canada gets on the inside and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Canada lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head, AND SENDS MALLEN TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Canada holds on to his opponent.  Canada leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Canada to stop holding.  
Canada lands a solid left hook.  
Canada gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Mallen's body.  
Canada hits home with a left uppercut.  
Canada lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mallen almost instantly recovers. 
Canada digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Canada lands a CRUSHING left uppercut.  MALLEN IS HURT!  
Canada senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Mallen and just needs the right shot.  Canada lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a cross to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Canada!
