Diego Damian vs Lorenzo Tomes

Boxing Daily Report from the gfjuvhvj promoted show at Mexicali Nieblas, Mexicali,  taking place on 04/02/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Baja California Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Damian (10(2) - 2) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Lorenzo Tomes(6 - 3(1) - 1) from Tijuana, Mexico.  Damian weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces, while Tomes weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lisandro Castellanos, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Navarra, Alejandro Lares and Marjun Villalpando.  

Round 1: 

Damian steps inside.  Damian voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Tomes accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Damian.
