Mark Nevitt vs Mark McClure

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at TD Gardens, Boston,  taking place on 15/02/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Massachusetts Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Nevitt (14(1) - 1) who hails from Boston, USA and Mark McClure(13 - 6 - 4) from Lowell, USA.  Both Nevitt and McClure weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Evans, and the three ringside judges are Ian Sproule, Fred Reese and Phil Dawes.  

Round 1: 

Nevitt digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
McClure quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McClure throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.
