Byron Pinault vs Briant Bah

Boxing Daily Report from the Danquah Promotions promoted show at Dakar Bart, Dakar,  taking place on 11/02/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Western African Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Byron Pinault (20(14) - 1) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Briant Bah(16 - 4 - 1) from Dakar, Senegal.  Pinault weighed in at 168 pounds, while Bah weighed in at 167 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Montrell Noury, and the three ringside judges are Acelin Mollere, Holland Signate and Boyce Perec.  

Round 1: 

Bah lands a spiteful jab.  
Pinault advances into close range and digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Pinault clinches his opponent.  Pinault pushes his forearm into Bah's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pinault lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Bah quickly recovers. 
Pinault throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bah switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pinault drives a right hook into Bah's ribs.  
Pinault lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Pinault lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Pinault lands a mean cross.  BAH IS HURT!  Bah quickly recovers. 
Bah throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Bah connects with a cross.  
Pinault attempts to land a left hook, but Bah blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Pinault digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Pinault steps inside and digs in a stinging right hook to Bah's body.

Pinault closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Bah throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Pinault steps inside.  Bah hits home with a right hook.  Pinault holds on to his opponent.  Pinault pushes his forearm into Bah's face.  The referee warns Pinault and breaks the clinch.  
Bah finds the target with a jab.  
Bah sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.  
Pinault gets on the inside and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Pinault senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Pinault lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND DROPS BAH!  He manages to get up at 7.  It looks like Bah has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Pinault advances into close range and drives a sharp left uppercut into Bah's body.  BAH IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Pinault clinches his opponent.  Pinault leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Bah sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pinault lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Pinault digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  Pinault tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Bah connects with a right hook.  
Pinault advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Bah throws a right hook, but Pinault holds on to his opponent.  Pinault is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Pinault pivots to the side of his opponent.  Bah throws a right hook, but Pinault ties up his opponent.  Pinault leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Pinault throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Pinault walks Bah onto the ropes.  Pinault lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Pinault lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pinault connects with a right uppercut.  
Pinault lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Pinault ties up his opponent.  Pinault is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Bah recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Pinault advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Bah throws a left hook, but Pinault clinches his opponent.  Pinault pushes his forearm into Bah's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Pinault to stop fouling.  
Pinault drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Bah is looking to keep his distance.  Pinault finds the target with a jab.  
Pinault sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.

Pinault lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND DOWN GOES BAH!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  Bah almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Pinault steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Bah in a corner.  Pinault digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribs.  Pinault tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Pinault lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.
