Boxing Daily Report from the AI Argentina-Buenos Aires promoted show at Kiki Cueva Gym, Mar del Plata,  taking place on 14/01/2031:

Clearly AI Argentina-Buenos Aires have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina-Buenos Aires Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Carrasquillo (10(6) - 2) who hails from La Plata, Argentina and Iago Gonzalez(11 - 12 - 3) from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Both Carrasquillo and Gonzalez weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noe Lacayo, and the three ringside judges are Angel Amado, Joaquin Hernandez and Santiago Barrios.  

Round 1:

Carrasquillo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Carrasquillo ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Carrasquillo pushes his forearm into Gonzalez's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Carrasquillo lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Carrasquillo ties up his opponent.  Carrasquillo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Carrasquillo and breaks the clinch.  
Carrasquillo digs in a weighty left uppercut to Gonzalez's liver.  GONZALEZ WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Carrasquillo senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Carrasquillo lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND GONZALEZ IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Gonzalez has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Carrasquillo is on target with a potent right hook to Gonzalez's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE GONZALEZ WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Gonzalez quickly recovers. 
Carrasquillo closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Carrasquillo holds on to his opponent.  Carrasquillo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Carrasquillo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gonzalez is looking to keep his distance.  Carrasquillo connects with a cross.

As they grapple, Carrasquillo pushes his forearm into Gonzalez's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Carrasquillo about fouling.  Gonzalez recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Carrasquillo lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND DOWN GOES GONZALEZ!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gonzalez's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Gonzalez's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
