Elias Carpio vs Antonio Galano

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Polideportivo Espana, Managua,  taking place on 24/03/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nicaragua Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Elias Carpio (9(8) - 1) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Antonio Galano(8 - 7 - 1) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Carpio and Galano weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gig Rave, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Mazo, Neron Godines and Antonio Quintero.  

Round 1: 

Carpio closes the distance and hits home with a sharp left hook.  Carpio ties up his opponent.  Carpio pushes his forearm into Galano's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Carpio walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Carpio sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.

Carpio lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  Carpio clinches his opponent.  Carpio leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Carpio uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Galano's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Carpio lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Galano almost instantly recovers.
