Yong Bu vs Yao Maa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Jiangsu promoted show at An Tsay Gym, Suzhou,  taking place on 16/01/2031:

Clearly AI China-Jiangsu have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Jiangsu Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yong Bu (6 - 4 - 2) who hails from Nanjing, China and Yao Maa(3 - 9(1) - 3) from Nanjing, China.  Both Bu and Maa weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Liko Shih, and the three ringside judges are Ho Tsou, Wu-pen Tsao and Dewei Fu.  

Round 1: 

Maa advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Maa steps inside.  Bu pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Bu steps away from his opponent.  Bu sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Maa throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Maa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross, right hook and a cross to his opponents head.  
Maa gets on the inside.  Bu pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into Maa's body.  
Bu attempts to land an overhand right, but Maa sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Bu's body.  
Bu pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Bu steps to the outside.  Maa tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Maa is looking to close the distance and forces Bu to back into the ropes.  Bu lands a right hook.
