John Kendrick vs Gareth Boyle

Boxing Daily Report from the Smash Em Up Promotions promoted show at Andy Harding Gym, Cardiff,  taking place on 13/02/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Wales Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Kendrick (6 - 1) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Gareth Boyle(3 - 0 - 3) from Cardiff, UK.  Kendrick weighed in at 107 pounds and 2 ounces, while Boyle weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joshua Gillespie, and the three ringside judges are Terry Lyons, Dale Carrick and Joshua Gillespie.  

Round 1: 

Boyle advances into close range.  Kendrick pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.
