Juan Florida vs Santiago Caram

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Distrito Capital promoted show at Bogota Laura, Bogota,  taking place on 14/02/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Juan Florida (5 - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Bogota, Colombia and Santiago Caram(17(5) - 4 - 1) from Bogota, Colombia.  Florida weighed in at 115 pounds, while Caram weighed in at 114 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Guillermo Melgoza, and the three ringside judges are Juan Gonzalez, Seferino Enrique and Jesus Arabia.  

Round 1:

Caram steps to the outside.  Caram feints a left hook, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Caram advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Caram steps inside.  Caram sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Caram tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Caram sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Caram lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Caram holds on to his opponent.  Caram hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  As Caram tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Florida has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
