Brett Porteous vs Richie Bankes

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Waikato promoted show at Mike Lovitt Gym, Hamilton,  taking place on 14/02/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Waikato Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brett Porteous (4 - 7 - 3) who hails from Hamilton, New Zealand and Richie Bankes(4 - 9 - 4) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  Porteous weighed in at 125 pounds and 9 ounces, while Bankes weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is George Irihapete, and the three ringside judges are Sam Shirah, Aika Rako and Sam Gowens.
