Darryl Bell vs Diego Montejo

Boxing Daily Report from the Forficula Promotion promoted show at McKenzie Sports Club, Linden,  taking place on 24/02/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NCN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darryl Bell (5 - 2) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Diego Montejo(4 - 0) from El Alto, Bolivia.  Both Bell and Montejo weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Greg Rhoderick, and the three ringside judges are George Niven, Sam Kinnard and Leeroy Work.  

Round 1: 

Bell closes the distance.  Bell pivots from in front of his opponent.  Bell lands a solid right uppercut.  Bell ties up his opponent.  Bell leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Bell's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Montejo advances into close range.  Bell lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Bell pivots to the side of his opponent.  Bell is on target with a right uppercut.  Bell ties up his opponent.  Bell throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Bell to stop fouling.  
Bell retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Montejo is whaling away with hooks, but Bell keeps his defence tight.  
Bell lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.

The ref halts the action and sends Bell to the neutral corner.    He tells Montejo to clean up his game.  The ref's patience seems to be wearing thin.
