Majid Daoud vs Gautam Ramroop

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Uttar Pradesh promoted show at Kanpur Vohra, Kanpur,  taking place on 16/02/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the India-Uttar Pradesh Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Majid Daoud (19(2) - 4(1)) who hails from Kanpur, India and Gautam Ramroop(11 - 17(1) - 1) from Kanpur, India.  Both Daoud and Ramroop weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kailash Tewari, and the three ringside judges are Indra Ratanpuri, Indra Ratanpuri and Haider Hoda.  

Round 1: 

Daoud advances into close range and drives a right hook into Ramroop's body.  
Daoud connects with a right uppercut.  Daoud throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Daoud gets on the inside and hits home with a firm left hook.

Daoud steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Daoud steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ramroop steps inside.  Daoud lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Daoud is on target with a left hook.  Daoud holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Daoud pushes his forearm into Ramroop's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Daoud about fouling.  
Daoud lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Ramroop wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Daoud dabs at his face checking for damage.
