Leo Perry vs Bob Whitehill

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Arizona promoted show at Chandler Kellow, Chandler,  taking place on 03/02/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Leo Perry (0 - 0) who hails from El Paso, USA and Bob Whitehill(2 - 0) from Tucson, USA.  Perry weighed in at 199 pounds And 1 ounces, while Whitehill weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Theo Gwenn, and the three ringside judges are William Huggett, Dave Boothe and Amon Gibson.  

Round 1: 

Whitehill closes the distance.  Whitehill leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Perry accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Whitehill.

Whitehill uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Perry behind the head. The ref breaks Whitehill's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Perry dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Perry.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Whitehill lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Perry's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.  Whitehill's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.  Whitehill's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
