Phillippe Auriol vs Djalaleddin Darbaki

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at Stade de Ngor, Dakar,  taking place on 28/02/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Phillippe Auriol (13(6) - 0) who hails from Touba, Senegal and Djalaleddin Darbaki(14 - 2 - 3) from El-Jadida, Morocco.  Auriol weighed in at 140 pounds, while Darbaki weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sezni Beal, and the three ringside judges are Leggett Kasse, Brigham Coly and Orleans Dabo.  

Round 1: 

Auriol is on target with a cross.  
Auriol advances into close range and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Auriol holds on to his opponent.  Auriol is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Auriol dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Auriol quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Darbaki throws a left hook, but Auriol holds on to his opponent.  Auriol leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Auriol walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Auriol quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Auriol lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Auriol ties up his opponent.  Auriol leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Auriol tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Darbaki's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Some sustained pressure from Auriol could be enough to finish Darbaki!  Auriol lands a hurtful cross.  DOWN GOES DARBAKI!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Darbaki has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Auriol lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND DARBAKI IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Auriol!
