John Myricks vs Steven Nolan

Boxing Daily Report from the Smash Em Up Promotions promoted show at Cardiff Gwilym, Cardiff,  taking place on 22/02/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Wales Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Myricks (17 - 9(1) - 1) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Steven Nolan(8 - 15 - 2) from Swansea, UK.  Myricks weighed in at 134 pounds and 14 ounces, while Nolan weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Glyn Bowen, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Birney, Mark MacNevin and Joshua Gillespie.  

Round 1: 

Nolan is on target with a cross.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Nolan dabs at his face checking for damage.  Nolan has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
