Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Taita Sport & Community Centre, Wellington,  taking place on 24/02/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Wellington Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Manawaroa (13 - 4) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Paau Hatata(4 - 2(1) - 3) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Manawaroa and Hatata weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Glynn Morgan, and the three ringside judges are Kyle Kidd, Alen Ritchey and Richie Hughson.  

Round 1: 

Manawaroa is looking to close the distance.  Manawaroa pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
