Lordson Uranta vs Mudashiru Ochefu

Boxing Daily Report from the Batabaire Promotions promoted show at Ayeh Gym, Kaduna,  taking place on 24/02/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Kaduna State Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lordson Uranta (17(9) - 0) who hails from Kaduna, Nigeria and Mudashiru Ochefu(13 - 6(1) - 1) from Kaduna, Nigeria.  Both Uranta and Ochefu weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ifeanyi Chukwudi, and the three ringside judges are Chigozie Wiwa, William Vozor and Kris Choji.  

Round 1: 

Uranta steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Uranta gets on the inside and forces Ochefu to back into the ropes.  Uranta lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Ochefu lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Uranta is on target with a stiff jab.  
Uranta lands a right hook.  Uranta holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Uranta pushes his forearm into Ochefu's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Uranta.  
Uranta gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Ochefu steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Uranta dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Uranta closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Ochefu pivots to the side of his opponent.  Uranta lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Uranta holds on to his opponent.  Uranta uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Ochefu behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ochefu throws a left hook, but Uranta clinches his opponent.  Uranta leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Uranta is on target with a firm right hook.  Uranta throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
