David Hoy vs Sam Kanney

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Safley, Christchurch,  taking place on 24/02/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Hoy (9 - 12 - 4) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Sam Kanney(8 - 10 - 5) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Hoy weighed in at 130 pounds, while Kanney weighed in at 129 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dave Pera, and the three ringside judges are Noel Haxton, Clint Cattell and Stephen Suite.
