Joaquin Briseno vs Manuel Malara

Boxing Daily Report from the Niguel Motto Promotion promoted show at San Juan Tabora, San Juan,  taking place on 26/02/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Puerto Rico-San Juan Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Puerto Rico Sports Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Briseno (7 - 1 - 2) who hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico and Manuel Malara(10 - 5) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Both Briseno and Malara weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xaverius Rueda, and the three ringside judges are Ulises Monforte, Diego Marina and Quico Sereno.  

Round 1: 

Malara quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.
