Asil Okur vs Tunc Yurdakul

Boxing Daily Report from the Salifu Promotions promoted show at Ankara Chaglar, Ankara,  taking place on 01/03/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Ankara Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Asil Okur (7 - 6 - 4) who hails from Ankara, Turkey and Tunc Yurdakul(2 - 8 - 3) from Ankara, Turkey.  Okur weighed in at 168 pounds, while Yurdakul weighed in at 167 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Emre Arica, and the three ringside judges are Erol Borazan, Metin Irtegun and Ahmet Genco.  

Round 1: 

Yurdakul advances into close range.  Yurdakul is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Yurdakul has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Okur advances into close range.  Okur sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Yurdakul throws a left uppercut, but Okur ties up his opponent.  Okur uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Yurdakul behind the head. 
Yurdakul sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Okur finds the target with a jab.  
Okur tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a cross.  
Okur steps inside and connects with a left hook.  
Okur is on target with a left hook to Yurdakul's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Okur's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Okur's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
