Paul Connelly vs Joel Struebing

Boxing Daily Report from the Rico Boxing Promotions promoted show at Gareth Berres Gym, Columbus,  taking place on 27/02/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Ohio Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Connelly (19(2) - 10 - 1) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Joel Struebing(8 - 5 - 2) from Columbus, USA.  Both Connelly and Struebing weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jack Pfluger, and the three ringside judges are John Ardis, Jack Pfluger and Mark Cato.  

Round 1: 

Connelly closes the distance and drives a firm right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Struebing is on target with a left uppercut to Connelly's ribs.  
Connelly hits home with a cross.

Struebing attempts to land a jab, but Connelly sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
