Lucas Tweedle vs Jack Varon

Boxing Daily Report from the Aqua Marines Promotions promoted show at Baton Rouge Hoggarth, Baton Rouge,  taking place on 02/03/2031:

Clearly Aqua Marines Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Louisiana Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lucas Tweedle (20(1) - 7) who hails from Shreveport, USA and Jack Varon(13 - 11 - 5) from New Orleans, USA.  Tweedle weighed in at 227 pounds And 10 ounces, while Varon weighed in at 235 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Smillie, and the three ringside judges are Stuart Grieve, Ian de Vigny and Mick Main.  

Round 1: 

Varon finds the target with a jab.  
Tweedle steps inside.  Tweedle voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Varon is whaling away with hooks, but Tweedle keeps his defence tight.
