Dave Urwin vs Jamie Shine

Boxing Daily Report from the Kronk Gym II promoted show at Corey Karpiak Gym, Detroit,  taking place on 02/03/2031:

Clearly Kronk Gym II have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Urwin (9(1) - 2) who hails from Detroit, USA and Jamie Shine(9 - 7 - 2) from Detroit, USA.  Both Urwin and Shine weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Max Gura, and the three ringside judges are Jasper Mudie, Chris Pakkarinen and Leon Russell.  

Round 1: 

Shine gets on the inside.  Urwin drives a left hook into Shine's ribs.  
Urwin tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Shine manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Urwin digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Shine attempts to land a right hook, but Urwin dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to Shine's liver.  
Shine is looking to close the distance.  Urwin lands a stinging right hook.  Urwin clinches his opponent.  Urwin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Urwin steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Urwin throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Urwin lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Urwin steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Shine is on target with a left hook.  
Urwin tries to step out of his opponents range and strikes his opponents body with a jab.

Shine gets on the inside.  Shine pivots from in front of his opponent.  Urwin digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Urwin steps away from his opponent.  Urwin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a stinging overhand right.  
Urwin lands with a stinging jab.  
Urwin feints a right hook, and then lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Shine advances into close range and forces Urwin to back into the ropes.  Shine connects with a left uppercut.  
Urwin connects with a cross.  
Shine hits home with a cross.  
Shine closes the distance.  Shine sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Urwin lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Urwin is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Urwin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Urwin is on target with a stinging cross to Shine's body.

Urwin lands an overhand right followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Urwin connects with a firm overhand left.  
Urwin tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a jab.  
Urwin lands a firm cross.  
Urwin is on target with a powerful right hook to Shine's ribcage.  SHINE IS HURT!  Shine almost instantly recovers. 
Urwin lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Urwin steps to the outside and is on target with a solid overhand right.  
Urwin lands two straights to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Urwin finds the target with a jab.  
Shine connects with a right hook.  
Urwin is looking to keep his distance and lands two straights followed by an overhand left to his opponents head, AND DROPS SHINE!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Shine advances into close range and manages to force Urwin onto the ropes.  Urwin knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Urwin lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND SENDS SHINE TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Shine is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Urwin!
