Stuart Sprott vs Rob Smith

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Nevada promoted show at Mark Begg Gym, Henderson,  taking place on 02/02/2031:

Clearly AI USA-Nevada have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Nevada Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Stuart Sprott (2 - 12 - 7) who hails from North Las Vegas, USA and Rob Smith(11 - 6(1)) from Reno, USA.  Sprott weighed in at 160 pounds, while Smith weighed in at 159 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alec Rees, and the three ringside judges are Waqar Othman, Ollie Latta and Dave Farquharson.  

Round 1: 

Smith is looking to close the distance.  Smith voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Sprott tries to tag Smith on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!

As Smith tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sprott dabs at his face checking for damage.  Sprott has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
