Michael Trumble vs Chris Fergeson

Boxing Daily Report from the Otu Promotions promoted show at Las Vegas Elder, Las Vegas,  taking place on 02/03/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Nevada Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Trumble (8 - 5 - 2) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Chris Fergeson(7 - 16 - 5) from North Las Vegas, USA.  Trumble weighed in at 247 pounds and 8 ounces, while Fergeson weighed in at 229 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mike Faulkner, and the three ringside judges are Dale Cloyd, Chris Cadwallader and Dave Farquharson.  

Round 1: 

Trumble steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Fergeson closes the distance.  Fergeson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Trumble is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a solid overhand right.  
Trumble tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a cross.  
Fergeson digs in a right uppercut to Trumble's body.  
Fergeson is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Fergeson throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Trumble's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
