Wasyl Kosko vs Fedya Strizh

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ukraine-Poltava Oblast promoted show at Poltava Barnick, Poltava,  taking place on 02/03/2031:

Clearly AI Ukraine-Poltava Oblast have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ukraine-Poltava Oblast Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Wasyl Kosko (5 - 14) who hails from Poltava, Ukraine and Fedya Strizh(3 - 12) from Kremenchuk, Ukraine.  Kosko weighed in at 135 pounds, while Strizh weighed in at 134 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Marlen Stupak, and the three ringside judges are Vasyl Podolsky, Symon Maslak and Vanko Yurkovich.  

Round 1: 

Kosko is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Kosko steps away from his opponent.  Strizh throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Kosko to the neutral corner.  He warns Strizh that he could be heading for a point deduction.
