Umair Nahas vs Khalid Hanania

Boxing Daily Report from the Bally's Boys promoted show at Aden Hawi, Aden,  taking place on 04/03/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Yemen Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Yemen TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Umair Nahas (7(4) - 0) who hails from Al Hudaydah, Yemen and Khalid Hanania(6 - 9 - 4) from Aden, Yemen.  Both Nahas and Hanania weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amer Rabbani, and the three ringside judges are Ahmed Bashour, Jawad Dawood and Waleed Burki.  

Round 1: 

Nahas feints a jab, tricking Hanania into countering with a left uppercut.  Nahas springs the trap, countering with  a sharp cross.  
Nahas lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Hanania connects with a left uppercut.  
Nahas hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Nahas is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Nahas switches the action to the outside and hits the target with a hard jab.  
Nahas lands with a hard jab.  
Nahas lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Nahas lands with a spiteful jab.  
Nahas is on target with a jab.

Hanania closes the distance.  Nahas lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Hanania attempts to land a jab, but Nahas parries the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Nahas pivots to the right of his opponent.  Nahas lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Nahas clinches his opponent.  Nahas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Nahas to stop fouling.  
Hanania gets on the inside.  Nahas pivots to the right of his opponent.  Nahas lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Nahas ties up his opponent.  Nahas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Nahas steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Hanania is looking to close the distance.  Nahas lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Nahas ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Nahas pushes his forearm into Hanania's face.  The referee warns Nahas and breaks the clinch.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hanania's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Hanania's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Hanania's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Hanania is looking to close the distance.  Nahas lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Nahas holds on to his opponent.  Nahas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nahas about fouling.  Hanania recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Nahas steps away from his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Nahas pivots to the side of his opponent and hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Nahas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Nahas finds the target with a spiteful jab.  Nahas attempts to land a left uppercut, but Hanania parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hanania throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Nahas lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Hanania steps inside.  Nahas is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Nahas steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Nahas lands a straight 1 - 2, AND KNOCKS HANANIA DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Hanania steps inside.  Nahas lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  Nahas tries to land a right hook, but Hanania blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
