Nao Okubo vs Aoi Sugita

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Shinji Sugimoto Gym, Nagoya,  taking place on 02/03/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the East Asian Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nao Okubo (6 - 0 - 1(NC)) who hails from Sakai, Japan and Aoi Sugita(8 - 0) from Nagoya, Japan.  Both Okubo and Sugita weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kenji Matsushima, and the three ringside judges are Michi Kawata, Kenji Matsushima and Satoshi Mochizuki.
