Juan Berlanga vs Aaron Murga

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at AT&T Park, San Francisco,  taking place on 24/04/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the IRBF Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Juan Cobra Berlanga (37(27) - 0) who hails from Bakersfield, USA and Aaron Murga(17 - 14(12) - 2) from Perth, Australia.  Both Berlanga and Murga weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adam Reina, and the three ringside judges are Will Ducat, Rob Fulton and Mark Hyland.  

Round 1: 

Berlanga switches the action to the outside.  Berlanga sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp jab into his opponents face.

Murga gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but Berlanga holds on to his opponent.  Berlanga tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Murga's kidney. Murga is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Murga forces Berlanga to back into the ropes.  Murga attempts to land a left hook, but Berlanga dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Murga is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Berlanga steps away from his opponent.  Murga attempts to land a jab, but Berlanga slips the shot and counters with a mean left hook.  MURGA IS HURT!  Murga recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Murga advances into close range and lands a right hook.  
Berlanga switches the action to the outside and lands a jab.  
Murga attempts to land a jab, but Berlanga sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Murga walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Berlanga is on target with a right uppercut to Murga's ribcage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Murga's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Berlanga is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Berlanga sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Murga advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Murga throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Berlanga lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Berlanga steps away from his opponent.  Berlanga senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Murga and just needs the right shot.  Berlanga lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS MURGA!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Murga has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Murga gets on the inside.  Berlanga is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Berlanga tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Murga gets on the inside and manouvers Berlanga onto the ropes.  Murga connects with a right hook.  
Murga throws a right hook, but Berlanga holds on to his opponent.  Berlanga pushes his forearm into Murga's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Berlanga pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a potent right uppercut to his opponents body.  MURGA IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Berlanga tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a solid jab to Murga's body.  
Murga advances into close range and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Murga sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Berlanga lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Berlanga senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Murga and just needs the right shot.  Berlanga lands a left hook, cross and a left uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING MURGA TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Berlanga!
