Sam Nixon vs Owen Merrick

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Atlantic City,  taking place on 14/03/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Nixon (16(13) - 2) who hails from Ontario, USA and Owen Merrick(24(6) - 9(1) - 1) from Lexington, USA.  Both Nixon and Merrick weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Bonaccini, and the three ringside judges are Lee Bowell, Valentino Brunelli and Cody Normand.
