Malcolm Tannahill vs Cole Aday

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 01/03/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Malcolm Tannahill (0 - 0) who hails from Atlanta, USA and Cole Aday(1 - 0) from Long Beach, USA.  Both Tannahill and Aday weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Sproule, and the three ringside judges are Fred Reese, Richie MacIsaac and Kyle Ormiston.  

Round 1: 

Tannahill attempts to land a jab, but Aday blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Aday throws a right uppercut, but Tannahill holds on to his opponent.  Aday pushes his forearm into Tannahill's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Tannahill.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
