Ponce Verdejo vs Cisco Marcelo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Manabi promoted show at Angel Gimenez Gym, Manta,  taking place on 15/02/2031:

Clearly AI Ecuador-Manabi have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Manabi Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ponce Verdejo (5(4) - 0) who hails from Manta, Ecuador and Cisco Marcelo(3 - 12(1) - 3) from Manta, Ecuador.  Both Verdejo and Marcelo weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rio Lona, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Malo, Manny Santiesteban and Gervasio Arroyo.  

Round 1: 

Verdejo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Verdejo lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Marcelo quickly recovers. 
Verdejo steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Marcelo quickly recovers.

Verdejo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Verdejo drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Marcelo tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Verdejo lands two overhand rights followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Marcelo quickly recovers. 
Verdejo lands a spiteful cross.  MARCELO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Marcelo circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Verdejo hits home with a hard jab.
