Bart McRae vs Charlie Sheridan

Boxing Daily Report from the Mainza Promotions promoted show at Bradford Hailes, Bradford,  taking place on 15/03/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bart McRae (4 - 2 - 2) who hails from Bradford, UK and Charlie Sheridan(8(4) - 1) from Bury, UK.  McRae weighed in at 108 pounds, while Sheridan weighed in at 107 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Brys, and the three ringside judges are Mervyn Cour, Neil McClimans and Glynn James.  

Round 1: 

McRae is looking to close the distance.  Sheridan pivots to the side of his opponent.  McRae throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sheridan gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Sheridan holds on to his opponent.  Sheridan pushes his forearm into McRae's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Sheridan lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Sheridan throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Sheridan ties up his opponent.  McRae is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McRae to stop fouling.  
Sheridan walks McRae into a corner.  Sheridan hits home with a firm left uppercut.  
Sheridan lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Sheridan clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Sheridan pushes his forearm into McRae's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Sheridan about fouling.  
Sheridan steps inside and lands a left uppercut.  
Sheridan forces McRae to back into a neutral corner.  Sheridan lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Sheridan ties up his opponent.  McRae uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Sheridan's kidney. Sheridan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Sheridan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McRae lands with a stiff jab.  
Sheridan closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Sheridan digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
McRae steps to the outside and hits home with a sharp jab.  
Sheridan manouvers McRae onto the ropes.  Sheridan stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  McRae throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook to McRae's ribs.  
Sheridan lands a right hook to the body followed by two left uppercut's to the head.  
McRae tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a jab.  
McRae closes the distance.  Sheridan lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
McRae attempts to land a jab, but Sheridan sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.  
Sheridan drives a solid left hook into McRae's body.  
Sheridan lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Sheridan lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Sheridan drives a stinging left uppercut into McRae's body.  Sheridan tries to land a right hook, but McRae blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sheridan advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Sheridan ties up his opponent.  Sheridan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Sheridan uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on McRae's kidney. The ref breaks Sheridan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
