Paul Norris vs Dave Birnie

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Smoke TO promoted show at Hamilton Kilpatrick, Hamilton,  taking place on 16/03/2031:

Clearly Big Smoke TO have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Ontario Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Norris (7 - 16 - 2) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Dave Birnie(7 - 13(1) - 2) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Norris and Birnie weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Hayes, and the three ringside judges are John Short, Chris Ruskin and Neil Cowans.  

Round 1: 

Norris tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Birnie advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.
