Derex Ahrendt vs Odie Mallow

Boxing Daily Report from the Kyei Promotions promoted show at Lajos Peterlin Gym, Chemnitz,  taking place on 17/02/2031:

Clearly Kyei Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Saxony Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Derex Ahrendt (18 - 10 - 3) who hails from Leipzig, Germany and Odie Mallow(13 - 10) from Dresden, Germany.  Both Ahrendt and Mallow weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Niklas Kussman, and the three ringside judges are Hobbard Schreiber, Geoff Strahm and Waldron Meisinger.  

Round 1: 

Mallow voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Ahrendt is whaling away with hooks, but Mallow keeps his defence tight.
