Pedro Pinel vs Zenon Belen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Santiago promoted show at Santiago de los Caba Santoyo, Santiago de los Caballeros,  taking place on 18/03/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Pedro Pinel (16 - 5(1) - 5) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Zenon Belen(7(6) - 1 - 1) from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.  Both Pinel and Belen weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quin Conejo, and the three ringside judges are Roman Avendano, Quico Amaya and Xaverius Alonso.  

Round 1: 

Pinel lands a jab to his opponents body.  Pinel throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Belen steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Belen holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Belen pushes his forearm into Pinel's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Belen.  
Belen steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Belen holds on to his opponent.  Belen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Belen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Belen manages to force Pinel into a neutral corner.  Belen lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  Belen clinches his opponent.  Belen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Belen steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Pinel on the ropes.  Belen drives a solid left hook into Pinel's ribs.  
Belen lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Belen lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Pinel quickly recovers.
