Eoin Connell vs Dave Macklem

Boxing Daily Report from the Volunteer Promotions promoted show at Dublin Collins, Dublin,  taking place on 22/03/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Ireland, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Eoin Connell (28(3) - 5(5) - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Dave Macklem(17 - 9 - 2) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Connell and Macklem weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lewis MacNevin, and the three ringside judges are Leon McPeters, Joshua Dermott and Roy Clery.  

Round 1:
