Reyes Palmero vs Quico Bernardez

Boxing Daily Report from the Sribor Promotions promoted show at Leon Mosco, Leon,  taking place on 23/02/2031:

Clearly Sribor Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guanajuato Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Reyes Palmero (9 - 1) who hails from Leon, Mexico and Quico Bernardez(2 - 1 - 2) from Leon, Mexico.  Both Palmero and Bernardez weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leonardo Holguin, and the three ringside judges are Eduardo Barraza, Bronco Cordon and Juan Nuncio.  

Round 1: 

Palmero is looking to close the distance.  Palmero quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  
Palmero steps inside.  Bernardez pivots from in front of his opponent.  Bernardez throws a right hook, but Palmero clinches his opponent.  Palmero pushes his forearm into Bernardez's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Palmero to stop fouling.
