Ponce Meraz vs Xavier Mesa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon promoted show at Federico Malle Gym, Ciudad Apodaca,  taking place on 23/02/2031:

Clearly AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ponce Meraz (12 - 13 - 2) who hails from San Nicolas de los Garza, Mexico and Xavier Mesa(7 - 12(1) - 6) from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico.  Both Meraz and Mesa weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cortez Gloria, and the three ringside judges are Enzo Augusto, Juan Loredo and Carlos Rochel.  

Round 1: 

Meraz gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.
