Ryo Mayeda vs Jiro Watanabe

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Nippon Budokan, Tokyo,  taking place on 29/03/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ryo Mayeda (13 - 1 - 5) who hails from Sagamihara, Japan and Jiro Watanabe(13 - 10 - 2) from Nagoya, Japan.  Both Mayeda and Watanabe weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hisoka Yamamoto, and the three ringside judges are Hajime Amari, Nori Saito and Kazuki Mochizuki.  

Round 1:
