Alen Shaheen vs Irfan Wassan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Machakos promoted show at Amon Akaranga Gym, Kangundo-Tala,  taking place on 22/03/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Machakos Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alen Shaheen (6 - 3) who hails from Kangundo-Tala, Kenya and Irfan Wassan(5 - 1 - 2) from Machakos, Kenya.  Both Shaheen and Wassan weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yobachi Kimanthi, and the three ringside judges are Sam Mwiria, Euan Kaikai and Ian Kahiu.  

Round 1: 

Wassan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Shaheen lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Shaheen switches the action to the outside and tries to land an overhand right, but Wassan blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Shaheen attempts to land a cross, but Wassan parries the shot and counters with a right hook.
