Ian Shanklin vs Joshua Shirer

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Waikato promoted show at Hamilton Bethune, Hamilton,  taking place on 24/02/2031:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Waikato have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Waikato Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Shanklin (8 - 17 - 1) who hails from Hamilton, New Zealand and Joshua Shirer(2 - 4 - 3) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  Shanklin weighed in at 146 pounds And 6 ounces, while Shirer weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is George Irihapete, and the three ringside judges are Gregor Tweedle, George Addair and Jack Carse.
