John Aleksandrov vs Ian Glynn

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Newcastle Panthers Club, Newcastle,  taking place on 31/03/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Aleksandrov (7(5) - 1) who hails from Canberra, Australia and Ian Glynn(3 - 1 - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Both Aleksandrov and Glynn weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bart Aday, and the three ringside judges are Yasin Younan, Isaac Ewart and Gethin Bufalini.  

Round 1: 

Aleksandrov is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging left hook into Glynn's body.  
Aleksandrov closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Glynn sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Aleksandrov lands a right hook.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Aleksandrov dabs at his face checking for damage.
