Mark Riley vs Mitsuru Kaneko

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at International House Osaka, Osaka,  taking place on 31/03/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Riley (8(4) - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Mitsuru Kaneko(3 - 3 - 2) from Himeji, Japan.  Both Riley and Kaneko weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hiroki Tamashiro, and the three ringside judges are Kyo Kuramoto, Hisoka Tsuchida and Hisao Sakai.  

Round 1: 

Riley drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Kaneko connects with a left hook.

Riley lands a jab to Kaneko's body.  Riley tries to land a cross, but Kaneko dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Riley switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kaneko closes the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Riley throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Riley clinches his opponent.  Kaneko leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Riley tries to step out of his opponents range.  Riley feints a cross, fooling Kaneko into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Riley springs the trap, countering with  a stinging right uppercut.

Riley lands two left uppercut's to the body followed by a left hook to the head, KNOCKING KANEKO DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Riley!
